Here’s your chance to give yourself a fighting chance while helping to beat Multiple Sclerosis. ALL proceeds will benefit the CT Chapter of the National MS Society.
Come learn a multi-layered approach to ensuring your safety. A Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do since 1999, I have taught or co-taught numerous self-defense classes with an emphasis on practical, easy-to-use, easy-to-remember techniques. In each two-hour class, geared towards adults and high school/college-aged students, you will learn how to prevent most confrontations through
Awareness, Avoidance, and Anticipation.
And in the event of an assault you’ll learn how to prepare yourself through practical, easy-to-remember techniques that only require gross motor skills.
The Healthtrax Fitness Center in Glastonbury has been kind enough to let us offer two classes on
Thursday, April 30, from 6-8pm and Thursday, May 7, from 6-8pm.
Healthtrax is located at 628 Hebron Avenue, Glastonbury, CT 06033.
The University of Connecticut, Storrs Campus, was also kind enough to let us offer a class in cooperation with Hawley Armory Fitness & Wellness Programs. UConn students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate. It will be held in the Hawley Armory on
Wednesday, May 27, from 3-5pm.
These Personal Safety classes are suitable for people 14 years and older. To attend a class, there is a tax-deductible minimum donation fee as follows:
