    bkm/STEELCASE MS BIKE TOUR
    Saturday Morning Training Rides

Join us each Saturday morning to ride into shape for the June 6, 2010 MS
Bike Tour!  ALL riding abilities are welcomed and no rider will be
abandoned.  Cue sheets will be available for every rider each week.  All rides
are rain or shine and ‘Ride at your own Risk’.  Helmets are required.  There
are two starting locations to choose from:  Griffin Center in Windsor and
Rite Aid Pharmacy in East Windsor.  Times shown below are subject to
change due to inclement weather!

The rides out of Griffin Center tend to be more casual and split into two
groups.  One group rides a 10-25 mile route with an average speed of 12-15
mph.  The second group tends to ride 15-18mph and will start with a 25 miler
and eventually offer 35, 50, and 75 miles closer to the Tour date.

The rides out of Rite Aid Pharmacy tend to be a faster pace with an average
of 16-19 mph.  Starting in April, they will help those riding the 100-Mile MS
Tour become familiar with the part of the route that’s on the east side of
the river.

Directions to #5 Waterside Crossing, Windsor, CT:  From 91N, take exit 38
(Poquonock/Day Hill Rd).  End of ramp, take a right, pass under highway and
bear right at sign for the Windsor Corporate Area, following Day Hill road
for 4 miles.  At the intersection of Routes 187 and 189, take a right at the
traffic light (Blue Hills Ave. Ext).  Follow Blue Hills Ave. for 200 yards, take
a right onto Griffin Road North.  Take your 4th left onto Waterside
Crossing, then 1st right into # 5.  Building #7 is adjacent to #5.
The only
restrooms available are provided by Mother Nature.

Directions to Rite Aid Pharmacy, 74 Bridge St, in East Windsor:  From 91 N,
take exit 45.  End of ramp, take a left onto Bridge St.  Parking lot for Rite
Aid Pharmacy is 0.5 mile on the right.  Nearby restroom facilities are
available at the start location.
